Hikes and Bikes L.A.

Griffith Park Hike

Take delight in the spectacular view of LA and the Hollywood sign from Griffith Observatory. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and always carry water with you. It will be hot and sunny. Wear sunblock, sunglasses and a hat.

This free excursion includes a NASPA volunteer-led hike from the Griffith Observatory to Mount Hollywood. This manageable 2.65-mile hike delivers excellent views of both the Observatory and the Hollywood Sign (along with the rest of Los Angeles).


  • Date: Sunday, March 10th
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. -  1:00 p.m. (lunch will not be provided)
  • Exact meeting location will be communicated in confirmation email. Will depart from the Convention Center.


Whether you are new to this artful practice or a seasoned yogi, come and join fellow NASPA colleagues for an opportunity to dig deeper into the intention and meaning behind what you say, what you do, and how you move through this world. Free, open to all abilities, limited number of mats provided (first-come, first-served).

Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training - alternating fast and slow rhythms - and resistance training. Come one, come all -- dancing skills not required! Free, open to all abilities.

OrangeTheory Fitness

Orangetheory is a 1-hour, full body workout, focused on training endurance, strength, and power. Your real time results are displayed on large screens throughout the studio. Intensity is based on your individual heart rate zones, making the workout effective for all fitness levels.

This private group fitness class will take place at Orangetheory Fitness DTLA located 515 South Figueroa St. Suite 102, ground level. For more information on Orangetheory, click here. There is limited availability and advanced RSVP is required.
