2024 NASPA Annual Conference

Asian Pacific Islander Knowledge Community 25th Anniversary

The Asian Pacific Islander Knowledge Community is turning 25 years old in 2024! We look forward to celebrating this milestone anniversary with the NASPA community at the 2024 NASPA Annual Conference. Read below for information about our Celebration.

APIKC 25th Anniversary Celebration

Sunday, March 10, 8:00 p.m. PT

In 1999, the Asian Pacific Islander Network was formally established, building on earlier community-building and advocacy by API leaders and allies. The network transitioned to a Knowledge Community in 2003. Visit the APIKC legacy project to learn more about the KC's history and growth.

In its 25-year history, the APIKC has sought to educate and inform NASPA members about the current issues, trends, and research facing Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander students and staff in higher education. At the same time, the APIKC also nurtures and supports the professional development of students and professionals through programming, resources, and other leadership and involvement opportunities.

The gala program will honor our history, celebrate our present, and usher us toward our future. The event will honor outstanding achievements among members in our community.

Registration for the celebration is $100. (Registration is limited to 125 people.)
*To purchase a table or to register for the celebration without registering for the Annual Conference, please contact Laura Roha.
