NASPA Latinx/a/o Knowledge Community Alex Gonzalez Scholarship Award | Deadline: Forthcoming
In honor of our dear colleague, Alex Gonzalez, we name this scholarship award after him in recognition of his dedication and commitment to all students, new professionals, and the Latinx/a/o community. Alex Gonzalez was a strong supporter, advocate, and mentor to all students and new professionals exploring their career interests.This scholarship award will help undergraduate students, graduate students, and new professionals attend the NASPA Latinx/a/o Knowledge Community Pre-Conference.

NASPA Women in Student Affairs Knowledge Community Women's Issues Professional Development Access Grants | Deadline: Nov. 1
The purpose of the Women in Student Affairs Knowledge Community Women’s Issues Professional Development Access Grants is to provide an opportunity for WISA KC members and NASPA student members to strengthen their work related to women’s issues through access to learning, sharing of knowledge, advocacy, networking, and other professional development activities to be gained by attending the NASPA Annual Conference.
Recipients of this grant will:
- Receive an access grant ($500 for NASPA members, $200 for student members) to be used toward attendance at the NASPA Annual Conference. Funds can be used for:
- Conference registration, travel to and from the conference, lodging needs during the conference, and meals. Funds cannot be used to cover the cost of alcohol purchases or optional recreational/social activities.
- Recipients of the Access Grants will work with the NASPA office to utilize these funds.
- Be highlighted through WISA KC’s social media, email communication, and other channels.
- Be recognized at the WISA KC Open Meeting at the NASPA Annual Conference.
- Write a blog post for the WISA KC blog after the conference highlighting the learning, sharing, advocacy, networking, and other benefits gained through their conference attendance.
The application period for this award closed on November 1.
Dr. Arthur Taylor Student Commitment to Service Award | Deadline: Nov. 2
The purpose of this award is to recognize one (1) undergraduate or graduate student for their accomplishments and contributions toward an Indigenous student services program. The award is intended to support the next generation of inspirational service leadership, and carries forward the legacy of Nez Perce scholar, Dr. Arthur Taylor, whose personal commitment in supporting Indigenous students in higher education continues to have enduring and positive impact. Recipient will receive a one (1) conference registration paid for by the IPKC Leadership Board.

TKC Outstanding Graduate Student Award | Deadline: Nov. 9
The NASPA Technology Knowledge Community is pleased to award a deserving member of the graduate student community, within or outside of the KC membership, who has showcased excellence in the promotion and use of technology within the student affairs community.
As Technology becomes its own competency, it is important to recognize the efforts of rising professionals who have leveraged time in graduate programs to become skilled in the use of technology within their work.
This award recognizes a graduate student that has advocated for the competency and demonstrated innovative use of technology within the student affairs field, including but not limited to assessment and evaluation, networking, continuing education/professional development, marketing, research, and more. Understanding the importance of promoting the learning and growth of graduate students, this award includes financial support (up to $400) to assist with costs for the recipient to attend the Annual NASPA Conference.

Jason Laker Scholarship for Men and Masculinities | Deadline: Nov 15
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide monetary support for an individual to participation in any NASPA professional development opportunity. This scholarship provides the opportunity for interested parties to become greater engaged in supporting college men on their college campuses and fulfills the educational mission of the Men and Masculinities Knowledge Community. The award will be offered once annually. The scholarship will be $150-$250 (depending on annual funds) towards the registration and travel for the conference. Recipients of the scholarship will share what they have learned through use of this scholarship with the MMKC in the form of a blog post or newsletter article for the group.

50/50 First-Time Attendee Mid-Level Scholarship | Deadline: Nov. 18
Continuing for its second year, our valuable NASPA Sponsors and Exhibitors, including OCM, Spelman Johnson, COCM, and e-CHECK UP TO GO Programs, are taking part in an effort to fund the registration for 100 first-time mid-level NASPA participants over the 2018 and 2019 conferences. We gave 50 scholarships in 2018 and now it is time to give 50 scholarships in 2019 to commemorate our 100th NASPA Anniversary. Professional level will be verified through the NASPA profile information and current résumé.
Selected recipients will attend a sponsorship recipient breakfast on Tuesday, March 12, with a colleague of their choice, and a complimentary professional member registration to the NASPA Annual Conference in the amount of $475. Although NASPA membership is not required, preference will be given to current NASPA members.

Jim Rhatigan Fellowship Application | Deadline: Nov 18
This scholarship, sponsored by the NASPA Foundation, is open to graduate students pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in higher education or a related first. Individuals do not need to be a first-time attendee to the NASPA Annual Conference, but individuals may only receive the scholarship once.
Valued at $1,000, recipients will receive a complimentary NASPA Annual Conference registration, a complimentary ticket to attend the NASPA Awards Luncheon, and a $700 stipend for conference related materials.

NUFP Annual Conference Stipend | Deadline: Jan 4
This stipend, open only for NUFP Fellows, is intended to support attendance at the 2019 NASPA Annual Conference, including any pre-conferences like the Undergraduate Student Conference. Only NUFP Fellows in the 2018-2019 Class are eligible to apply.
More information about this scholarship will be available in the November NUFP note. Applications will open in late November and will be due on January 4.
