#NASPA23 Experiences - Virtual Drag Bingo and Trivia!

There are many reasons we attend conferences. Some attend to network and meet industry peers, others look to expand their knowledge or present their ideas and work to others. These certainly make for effective professional development, but what gives a conference that extra wow factor is the experiences that surround the professional development. 

In order to deliver an outstanding experience at the 2023 NASPA Annual Conference in both the place-based and virtual spaces, the Conference Leadership Committee is planning conference activities to engage and interact with attendees. These activities create a fun and relaxed atmosphere and allow everyone to interact as humans and not just professionals, which, by extension enables everyone to have a well-rounded conference experience. 

The conference is an annual reminder of the passion we feel about our profession, and this opportunity to gather reconnects us with the purpose and mission of the student affairs field. It is also a great opportunity to have some fun through a number of experiences! The Virtual Experience will be hosting a virtual drag bingo party following the Opening Session on Sunday, April 1, produced by Drag Queen Entertainment. The Zoom-based event will feature five rounds of bingo with a few lip-sync performances between rounds, streamed from DQE Studio over 90 minutes. Winners will receive e-gift cards.

On Tuesday, April 4, the Virtual Experience will host a virtual team trivia event via Zoom at 8:30pm Eastern, produced by Trivia Hub.  Team Trivia will feature four rounds of trivia with eight questions per round.  Winners will receive e-gift cards.
