2020 NASPA Annual Conference

Getting Around

The Austin Convention Center (ACC) is located in the heart of Austin, Texas—the capital city of the Lone Star State. Stretching over six blocks, you can't miss it!
Follow these tips for getting around Austin at the 2020 NASPA Annual Conference.

Public Transportation

The Capital Metro’s Downtown MetroRail stop is located right next to the Austin Convention Center. Although the Downtown stop is currently under construction, the MetroRail will still be a great way to commute to the Austin Convention Center or to explore the city. At the Plaza Saltillo Station, a Metro Bus will shuttle train passengers to the Convention Center and vice versa.

A single ride on the MetroRail costs $3.50, or a day pass costs $7. For more information, you can use the Metro's Trip Planner tool, or check out the overall Austin public transit map.

Flying into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA)? The Route 20 Manor Rd/Riverside MetroBus stops at the ABIA Lower Level and will take you to Downtown Austin.  The closest stop to the Austin Convention Center is Lavaca/4th. A single bus ticket costs $1.25. Check the online schedule.

By Taxi or Ride App

The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport has a specific location to catch a taxi or meet your Ride App driver for pick-up. Review this graphic for walking directions from both the upper and lower levels at ABIA.
