Scholarly Papers focus on the results of quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods studies, or report the findings of studies that use historical or philosophical methods. These sessions offer an opportunity for both new and established scholars to explore emerging and relevant areas of research. While not a dissertation defense, Scholarly Papers Sessions are designed to give emerging research and researchers a forum to receive feedback on their topics of study in higher education.
Each paper will be assigned a discussant prior to the conference. Each 50-minute session will have two to three researchers present their papers and will include comments from the discussant, as well as a facilitated question and answer session.
