Alianzas: Raising Latinx Students’ Experiences towards Academic Achievement and Graduation (ID 557)

According to the Pew Research Center, colleges and universities have seen an increase of Latinx students by 240% since 1996, and enrollment is expected to continue to grow by 7.5% annually. A large portion of Latinx students are first-generation college students and their retention and graduate rates lag beyond their counterparts. Presenters will review Latinx research and data and discuss how colleges and universities can implement unique and indicated strategies to impact Latinx students' enrollment and completion rates.
