All Work and No Play: The Impact of Ideal Worker Norms on Student Affairs Professionals (ID 215)

Student affairs work requires much of professionals, often expecting long hours and selfless commitment to meeting students' needs. In part, these demands stem out of ideal worker norms, which suggest that employees should prioritize their work responsibilities over all others. Such expectations can take a toll.
