2020 NASPA Annual Conference

Student Activism Boot Camp

Student affairs plays an integral role in anticipating, managing and revising strategy on dealing with and supporting student activism. We will focus on the strategy, policy, and communication around student unrest, campus protests, and activism. This will be an interactive session and use best practices from actual cases over the past few years, as well as those on the campuses where the facilitators are located. Participants will leave better equipped to help students advocate in productive ways while supporting the institution’s mission.
