Both/And: Story-Sharing and Solidarity Building for Transracial Adoptee & Multiracial Student Affairs Educators

PC 40

In this interactive pre-conference session, participants will explore parallels and differences between the experiences of transracial adoptees (TRA) and multiracial people as sites for empathy, solidarity, and allyship. Using story-sharing and a strong grounding in theory, we will engage in expansive coalition building to develop strategies to make student affairs policy and practice more inclusive for TRAs and multiracial people in higher education.
