Cultivating Leaders for a More Equitable Society: A New Model for Social Justice Leadership Development (ID 216)

Presenters will introduce attendees to the Social Action, Leadership, and Transformation (SALT) model, a new leadership framework. This model meaningfully incorporates systemic oppression, power and privilege, and culture and identity into the definitions of leadership and leadership development. Each element of the model will be reviewed and strategies for implementing the model into an existing or future leadership programs will be shared.
