2020 NASPA Annual Conference

Delivering on the Promise

There is a growing sense of dissatisfaction with higher education’s ability to deliver skills that employers desire. There is also increasing stress and anxiety among students, staff, and faculty about how well students are situated for the future. Neuroscience provides us with evidence that the skill sets employers desire require collaborative in-class and out-of-class facilitation along with intentional evaluation. Presenter will help members explore and articulate the skill sets their constituents value, identify the opportunities on their campuses where these skill sets can be intentionally and systematically facilitated, and describe the ways in which they will know these outcomes will be realized upon graduation.
