Designing Student Success: The Art and Science of Practical Innovations
PC 8bSchools of art and design, as well as other small colleges and universities with similarly focused missions and curricula, share common challenges in their student success efforts. This often includes: working with limited resources in staffing, budget, facilities, nascent institutional research or assessment efforts, multiple interests from governing boards and executive leadership, student populations with specific academic and professional demands, and infrastructures highly dependent on tuition revenue with low endowments. This one-day workshop will bring together teams from these institutions to work in multiple learning formats and share their best innovative practices.
