How University of California-Berkeley Uses its Campus App to Advance Engagement with the Arts
What does it mean to provide campus-wide arts access and engagement to 40,000 students? At UC Berkeley, the CTO and the Arts + Design Initiative created a digital "Arts Passport" experience as a cornerstone of their new mobile campus app. The app and initiative remove barriers to attendance at creative events on and off campus. In less than year, with student buy-in and participation, they have already served nearly one quarter of the student population and fostered engagement with the arts.
