(Re) Building a Community of Practice: Transformative Campus Partnerships to Foster Inclusion and Belonging

PC 23

A sense of engagement and belonging is vital for a healthy campus community, increased retention, and training global leaders. An engaged, supportive campus climate requires a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Seton Hall University and Loyola University Chicago developed a cross-institutional partnership model for advancing campus DEI through university-wide collaboration, coordination, and communication. Administrators and faculty from both campuses will network, share strategies, and facilitate activities to help attendees develop a plan and community of practice to foster inclusion and belonging.
