2021 NASPA Virtual Conference

Student Leadership for Justice and Equity

PC 27

Students are the preeminent figures of society's future. The role of power, oppression, and activism must be recognized and honored in student leadership programs across all academic institutions. The presenters of this pre-conference session will guide participants to deeply engage with the Social Action, Leadership, and Transformation (SALT) Model. Participants will collectively brainstorm just and equitable practices in their respective leadership programs, understanding that justice and equity initiatives are necessary for creating a better world.
