Sustainability in Student Affairs: The Triple Bottom Line, the Sustainability Lens, and Preparing our Students for the Future

PC 28

A focus on sustainability is increasingly becoming a necessity for institutions of higher education. Climate change is affecting the intensity and frequency of natural disasters. As such, college students will need to be well versed in sustainability to succeed in their personal and professional lives. The NASPA Sustainability Knowledge Community will lead this pre-conference workshop on pertinent sustainability topics and strategies that student affairs professionals can utilize in their work to prepare students to meet these challenges.
