The Struggle Was Real: Online Education And Support Beyond COVID

PC 47

COVID disrupted higher education by requiring institutions to transition to remote learning, but the reality prior to 2020 was that online education was growing at unprecedented rates. The long-term effects of COVID on enrollments are unknown, however data on enrollments highlight the importance of investing in online students. In this session, research on online students will be shared, and participants will engage in reflection on experiences related to online education with the goal of considering opportunities to meet online learners' needs.
