Writing for Professional Publication: A NASPA Journals-Sponsored Intensive Writing Workshop

PC 36

Writing for professional publication is an important and useful skill for student affairs practitioners, doctoral students, and faculty. In this intensive writing workshop we will introduce authors new to professional writing to the processes of writing for publication in professional journals. Primary goals are helping emerging writers identify a topic, discover tools for facilitating the writing process, and understand the publication process. Participants engage in free writing during the workshop and will leave the session with a writing action plan.
