Constituent Group Sponsored Sessions
NASPA has many communities and groups that tailor your NASPA experience to your interests, professional level, and institutional type. Constituent Groups focus on a specific content area.
Constituent Group Sponsored Sessions are 50-minute general interest sessions that are selected for sponsorship by a NASPA Constituent Group. In the call for programs process, you may choose to submit your program to be considered for sponsorship by a particular Constituent Group. If selected, your session will be highlighted as part of the Constituent Group’s programming at the 2023 NASPA Annual Conference.
You may submit a program to be considered by the following groups:
- Knowledge Communities
- AVP Steering Committee
- Center for First-generation Student Success
- Community Colleges Division
- Faculty Council
- Global Division
- Professional Standards Division
- Public Policy Division
- Small Colleges & Universities Division
Constituent Group reviewers will review programs submitted for sponsorship. If your program is not selected for sponsorship, it will also be considered as a regular General Interest Session.
Virtual Presentations
Constituent Group Sponsored Sessions can be presented in-person sessions in Boston, or virtually as part of the NASPA Virtual Experience. In the call for programs process, you may submit a proposal to be considered for in-person in Boston, for the Virtual Experience, or for either format. Sessions accepted for the Virtual Experience will be either pre-recorded or presented live via Zoom.
