2025 NASPA Annual Conference

Extended Learning Sessions

Sometimes, 50 minutes are not enough to deeply explore a topic. The 2025 Extended Learning Sessions Committee will will offer several extended sessions designed to address approaches for addressing current and emerging challenges in the work of student affairs and services. These sessions are included with your 2025 NASPA Annual Conference registration, but may require participants to register separately. Extended Learning Sessions will take place on Monday and Tuesday of the Annual Conference. Registration is open!


The 2025 Extended Learning Committee is pleased to announce the three topical areas that will be addressed in three 90-minute sessions on Monday and Tuesday of the Annual Conference.

Yet, it is a skill that is frequently learned by trial-and-error, which can create challenges for both supervisors and supervisees. Generational elements and social identities add further, complex layers to the supervisory relationship. Supervision is also an acquired skill that can be done well. Join this panel session to examine supervision approaches, learn scalable strategies for supervising effective multi-generational teams, and employ the generational wealth on your campus.

    Live Podcast Taping with SA: Voices from Field, hosted by Dr. Jill Crieghton and Dr. Christopher Lewis

    This interactive session will feature a live recording of SA: Voices from the Field with Dr. Jill Creighton and Dr. Christopher Lewis. Attendees will experience two back-to-back podcast recordings, highlighting conversations with two distinguished award winners. This format offers a behind-the-scenes look at podcast production and engages the audience in authentic and dynamic dialogue about leadership, innovation, and student affairs trends.
